The Night Off

As a self-proclaimed chocoholic, this is one of my favorite cakes. This cake will indulge your cravings and leave your guests wanting more. A creamy mascarpone frosting and surprise crunch will have everyone talking. Can be made with chocolate or dark chocolate cake, your choice.

This cake looks really plain but it is anything but. 1lb of bittersweet chocolate and not much else make this dessert a rich and yummy treat anytime of the year. Available for shipping beginning November. 

Lighter in texture but certainly not in flavor, this one layer cake has a sweet and tart icing over the top. Can be served as a dessert, or even with yogurt and orange juice in the morning.

Lemon and raspberries are one of my favorite combinations. This cake is frosted in the middle and on top, and is loaded with fresh raspberries. Seasonal.

Chocolate lovers rejoice. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate make this cake borderline criminal! Multiple layers of thick ganache-like cream frosting fill each bite. This cake is not for the faint of heart.

I don't know about you, but I am a big fan of marzipan, especially around the holidays. Luckily for you this cake is available all year round. Chunks of almond paste and apricot preserves are an unlikely, but perfect compliment. When possible I make my own preserves. Serve this cake for breakfast or lunch. Topped with toasted almonds (almonds are optional but almond paste contains nuts).

Bananas were one of my favorite fruits as a kid, and its such a versatile fruit that it goes well with any baked good. This cake is no different. Fluffy and moist banana cake is topped with mascarpone frosting and bananas in the middle. Who says you won’t get your daily fruit serving?
